Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 14, 2025
Website: www.wildvitality.ca

By using this website or engaging with any Wild Vitality services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and services.

1. Risks and Benefits of Therapy

Therapy can offer many benefits, including increased self-awareness, personal growth, deeper connection with the body, improved relationships, and greater capacity for pleasure, vitality, and resilience. However, therapy may also involve recalling challenging memories or emotions, and experiencing unexpected changes in mood, sensations, or perspective. I will work collaboratively with you to minimize risks and support your healing process, though no specific outcomes can be guaranteed.

Healing is a non-linear journey, and I am committed to walking alongside you with care, skill, and integrity.

2. Confidentiality and Record-Keeping

What we discuss in sessions remains confidential and will not be shared without your explicit consent. I maintain brief, secure notes to track the general themes and interventions used in sessions. You are entitled to access your records at any time.
There are a few legally mandated exceptions to confidentiality:
    • If there is a risk of imminent harm to yourself or others;
    • If there is disclosure of abuse involving a child, elder, or vulnerable person;
    • If your records are subpoenaed by a court of law.
In addition, I may share non-identifying information during clinical supervision to ensure high-quality service.
All records are stored securely in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Files are retained for seven (7) years following the last date of service.

3. Coaching Services Outside British Columbia

If you reside outside of British Columbia, services are provided strictly in a coaching capacity. These services do not fall under the scope or regulation of a Registered Social Worker designation.

4. Substance Use Disclaimer

Wild Vitality does not provide, recommend, or facilitate access to any illegal substances or medicines of any kind, including in relation to psychedelic-assisted therapy.

    • Digital products (e.g., Yoga Nidras) are final sale and non-refundable.
    • Courses and events are refundable within 7 days of purchase only if less than 25% has been accessed.
    • Therapy sessions require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed or late-cancelled appointments may be charged the full fee.
